Dear all, am looking in to taking my daughter to the match on Friday v Chelsea. Is it possible to buy tickets at the turnstiles/ticket office on the night and can you have a beer in your seat?

You should be able to buy tickets at the box office & it is illegal to take alcohol into a football stadium, so, no, you cannot have a beer in your seat.

Thanks, that's not technically true as it is illegal to consume alcohol within sight of the pitch in first 5 tiers of men's football but there's nothing about the women's game.

I watched Palace women at Lewes last year (in championship obviously) and we drank all the way through the game. Dripping pan is a great ground with great beer so it was rude not to.
