Palace interested in signing Hwang Hee Chang.

would be our Ayew replacement. Has had a number of injuries so we need to ensure he has a thorough medical.

When fit and confident he is a decent player.

I would prefer a loan though

That was my immediate thought. Always handy having an 'Ayew' in the squad. Someone who's regularly a 6 or 7 and can be plugged into several positions when needed. A loan would make sense. Maybe the new DoF suggested it due to his Wolves links.

It reminds of when we bought Fan Zhiyi and Sun Jihai. Terry Venables was quoted as saying 'you know what it's like with Chinese players - you buy one, then half an hour later, you want to buy another one'.

Wolves fan: "Loan with an option to buy would be pointless. No Premier League football club would be stupid enough to buy Hwang permanently after watching him for a whole season. Oh wait..."

In the few times I saw him he looked like he worked hard and he's quick and he did get 12 goals in the season before last. Is this a desperate move? It does sound like this one might happen so we may well find out.

I could understand this if it was a move to bring a player in which would help open up a new market but he wont also at 29 suffered fair amount of injuries is not a good business.

He looked a decent player a season or two ago, mobile with clever movement in attacking areas and sharp finishing.
He got an injury, lost his place and the emergence of Cunha and Larsen seemed to hamper his opportunities when he was fit.
As a loan I think this has merit.

Hopefully he is one of two replacements for Eze. A good signing if on loan with an option to buy.

If this happens it might not be linked to Eze, going OG wants a couple more and Hwang, might be one of those. We need some experience for rotation this would do that.

This is a weird one.

Hwang is bang average. 2 goals last season. 17 goals in three years. 12 of those in 1 season. Why are we signing someone who doesn't score?

2 goals is what you would expect from a defender.
