I cannot remember who the ref was, but they confessed to finishing Man.U game at old trafford 3 mins early as he was going to be very tight catching his train back south.

I also remember a ref who was interviewed by neville / carragher "jokingly" say that towards the end of the game when he's tired he blows up for everything for a rest. 🤷🏻‍♂️
