Some can be great and others are GREAT.
He has to be alongside messi and Ronaldo for quality, not goals though I don’t think.

I recall Modric in his Tottenham days.He was never the quickest but had a fine strike on him.
World class passing ability and strong for his slight build.A player with immense quality.
Harry Redknapp who managed him at Tottenham described him as a model professional.

physically short, and slight. If he walked past you, in the street , he would look like a nobody. Puts on a football shirt and he becomes superhuman.

I rarely watch games from other leagues but I was actually watching this one the other day.
When that went in I couldn't help letting out a loud and vocal "whooaa!"
