Unfortunately, I can’t go the match and I have two spare tickets if anyone is interested. Cost price was £40 from another Palace fan. He paid £46 for the two.

CPISA spoke to the club yesterday and they let us know that if you’re going to the Lyon match tonight and if you are staying in a hotel near to the ground, the club have managed to get agreement that post match you will not have to get on the coaches all the way back to the Eurexpo meeting point.

The trade off is that you will be kept back an extra 15 minutes or so in addition to the approximately 1 hour everyone using coaches are held back in the ground.

All supporters will still need to go to Eurexpo meeting point to get on the coaches to the ground pre-match (except Cat 1 and disabled supporters).

Feels like real hostile place to visit ?

Watching the away ends with plastic hoardings or fences really suggest a thug mentality

Saw it Liverpool game last night , we had it some games last season

Is it for only Champions Europa,Conf games or do they use them for domestic?

Getting to the ground was a shambles as expected , I thought the palace stewards did a really good job. Helped everyone as much as they could under immense pressure, lots of unhappy people which is to be expected but helps massively having them present. Safe to say I won't be rushing back to Lyon if we play them again this season!

T5 trams every 25 mins to Eurexpo (nothing extra laid on). Huge queues at Eurexpo and zero interest or information from the French police on scene as to why the delays with several coaches ready & waiting for us to board. Good job it wasn’t raining as we’d have all got absolutely soaked as there was no cover whatsoever for the lengthy queuing at Eurexpo.

The Palace stewards did later inform us that the delay was due to a backlog at the stadium for getting Palace supporters inside and so the police were holding the coaches back. Understandable but just some information at the time would’ve been helpful or start the shuttle buses earlier. It took us 2hr 15mins to get from the City Centre to the stadium (via the designated route) start the shuttle buses at 1600hrs instead of 1630hrs and spread the numbers out.

They really did make a complete mess of handling 3000 exceptionally well behaved supporters who were organised, on time and very compliant.

The French authorities really do have it in for English teams. It was bad in Strasbourg and even worse in Lyon. Being treated like s*** and as if we’re all 80’s hooligans by the French police is getting a little tiring now.

The French police at Eurexpo said there had been a bus strike so fewer available before. The searches at the ground did seem to take forever. We arrived at Eurexpo at 5 but still missed the first few minutes.
