I increasingly find it difficult to understand what on Earth is going on in this green and pleasant land of ours.
Whoever did this should have the same substance thrown at him (or her).

Schools are very small communities. It isn’t difficult to establish who is responsible, even if they don’t go to that school or there’s hesitancy in coming forward. There’s a good chance the perpetrators are under 18 so we won’t find out, which is what they want after all.
There were some stabbing incidents involving under 18’s one night a few years ago in Purley. It started on the main Brighton Road where I think is where someone died. It then continued with a chase on foot and a further stabbing incident near the train station entrance. It apparently started with an argument on Facebook.
About a year ago a boy from John Fisher school Purley was stabbed to death after school in the tiny precinct that goes between Brighton Road and High Street where a homeless man sleeps on a mattress. It is now closed.
