Lerma leaving?

Saw somewhere that Vasco de Gama are going to bid for him. I think he's pretty much a squad player now and with Cheick and Chadi coming back soon I think it makes sense if we get some money for him (especially as we signed him on a free)

A tad bold. Cheick would be relevant to Lerma but sadly I think he’s finished at this level.
I think Lerma is on fairly good money. I’d keep him. More than half decent back up in midfield and back three.

I would not rush to sell him. Of course if he wants to leave there is no point in keeping an unhappy player. Hopefully this is just a negotiating tactic by his agent and he really just wants a new contract, which I would be happy for him to sign.

If this site is accurate he's on £70,000 a week.

Some of the figures look a bit lopsided (Uche £9,400 a week?) but if it's correct then Lerma is on more a week than Mateta and so are Sosa and Benitez. If, when, Guehi leaves he'll be getting at least X4 what we're playing him.

I think this would be most unwise…there is no indication as to when Cheick will back if ever. Even if at some point he does return he may not be anything like the player he once was was im affraid.
 
Hope not. Still a good player for us and versatile too. He'll be needed this season with all the games.

I'd be surprised if Doucoure comes back the same player.

Hoping Doucoure will come back but agree he may not. I wouldn’t sell unless good money and replacement coming in
 
Having read all your guy's comments, I actually go back on my initial comment. It's probably better he stays, but I just feel (although he is an effective player for us) he produced a bit more on the goal/assist front when he was at Bournemouth.
 
I wouldn't be hugely surprised if we bought a youngish midfielder in January. We're going to be short in that area soon enough. Can't really see Doucoure coming back soon enough and we don't know what he'd be like. Would recalling Ozoh be useful? Not convinced quite yet and I'm not sure Glasner would want that either.
