While investigating the differences between Real Madrid & Atletico....i stumbled across this link below. It pegs us as being fairly close to the centre of the road. Which i believe is correct for Palace. And also possibly, it dobs Chelsea as occasionally a having a tiny whiff of Oswald Moseley and every Merseyside club as hating the Tories.

Any thoughts, observations, questions or comments ?

And what about the international politics of Football Clubs around the World. Manager Robbie Keane got grief for being good at football but not politically savvy. Rangers & Celtic. Barcelona & Real Madrid - El classico. The hatred Napoli fans have for Milan is legendary - and not just about football.

The politics of a club's fan base is largely set by its geographical location and the laws, both FA (lefty loons) and government (it's been loons for decades) that it has to abide by.....being a London club that means that the majority of the fan base for Palace is on the left....some of it the activist left.

The ownership seems to be more the Blairite types.

The reality of the laws in the country mean that a club isn't even allowed to be socially right wing if it even wanted to be, having to sign up to all that 'inclusive' and 'equality' waffle that social conservativism views as a load of bollocks and as little more than enforced egalitarianism over freedom.

its difficult to guess where his ideology came from. But he

- didnt drink alcohol
- didnt eat Pork

- condoned censorship
- persecuted Gays
- killed dogs

- was violently Anti-Semitic
- and had a dubious relationship with his own niece

- fire bombed many churches
- shunned any women, from his own ethnic group, who had married men from other groups

- imposed a special tax on Jews

Basically, a monster. His favourite football team ? who knows. I doubt Salzberg want anything to do with him.
