Labour leadership challenge

The very notion of an egregious 'implodee' gloating over an implosion elsewhere is, frankly, utterly laughable.

Reform is just a dustbin for busted, despised and psychopathic Tories, qv. Braverman, Lee Anderson, Anne Widdecombe, Andrea Jenkyns, Nadine Dorries, Robert Jenrick, Jonathan Gullis and all the other barking mad misfits jumping on this rather unsavoury bandwagon.

If anyone believes that Reform offers a real alternative, then they really haven't been paying attention.
They have not paid attention as they do not understand the factual matrix in which such understanding should be placed.

Most will vote for Reform, not because they agree with their policies (they will be unable to list any) but because they are bright, shiny and new and (so far) untarnished by history.

Reform will get one term. Then those who replace them have to remedy the mess they have made (a la Biden and Starmer) and will be punished accordingly with how that is spun by Reform getting another term.

Voting Reform because they aren't Labour or Tory is a valid position. It is a protest about the shocking decline of Britain under their leadership. In other words, voting against what you don't want more of.

There are also plenty of people who want to see a genuine right wing government.

Whether the introduction of Tory 'experience' is a help or a hindrance remains to be seen. There is something to be said for a fresh approach to problems without the baggage of previous experiences, but it helps to have a grasp of the fundamental mechanisms of government.
I do not doubt that Reform will face opposition from all sides when trying to pass legislation. It is an unfortunate reality of politics that politicians spend much of their time opposing for their own benefit rather than doing anything to serve the people.

Those who stand in the way of reform within the civil service should be exposed and removed. The MPs who vote against badly needed legislation should have their names and faces plastered all over the right wing media and highlighted at every opportunity in Parliament.

The will of the people must prevail over the cancer of institutional liberalism.
