A few rumours circling that we are in for Jaydee Canvot.

Villa had a bid rejected earlier in the window. But supposedly would move for €20m

France U19 international, 18 appearances in Ligue 1 last season, starting 12 of those games.

Looks to be a bit of a physical specimen and technically sound.

I am regretting that negative post I just did on Akanji (also replying to yours).

If Canvot is coming in I hope it is additional firepower in defence not instead of Guehi.
 
He's right footed and very young so I doubt he'll be replacing Guehi who is hopefully now staying as it's probably too late to replace him (Steve ffs listen to Oli on this one).
He got his chance last year due to injuries and has been very impressive. He's strong, athletic and wins alot in the air and can also push into midfield.
Toulouse also have a recruitement strategy heavily based on analysing data and a players character.
His agent is Sissoko who was at Spurs and Newcastle (played with the white wrist bands) so knows all about the prem and also how Palace like to develop young talent.
