I am advised that Igor Julio is left-footed and of course could play as a left-sided central defender in a back three, a position that Guehi occupies.
He has had his injury woes and only played 13 games for Brighton last season.

Concerning to see that Brighton fans seem ok with this, although I did see one brave soul saying that he is probably more suited to our system. If the deal for Canvot is all but done, then this is surely the deal that will grease the wheels for Marc's departure. I'm not sure Glasner will be at all happy with that. From Julio's perspective, he will probably prefer to be at a club that wins trophies and is in Europe.

Good point. This could be the compromise candidate which will allow OG to reluctantly accept that Guehi will be sold. Can't imagine SP enjoyed having to crawl to that South Coast outfit to get a loan.

Decent enough squad player and we certainly need at least one oven ready centre back to add to the squad .
