Home fixture list 2025

I think Palace have an unusual fixture list this year in the sense that we don't really have a run of harder / easier games coming up.

And yes, I know there are no easy games in this league, but after Chelsea on 4th Jan, I look at the home fixtures and think, we can probably get something out of that.

Just saying.

I think the point being made is there are no really tough runs like we had last season. The type of run where you face Liverpool, city, arsenal and Chelsea one after the other. It’s a nice spread of games where if we play a big boy we then play a game we should have a good chance taking points.

But it’s the prem so we are just as likely to beat Liverpool and lose to wolves

Even currently, it looks like we should care about the big teams about as much as we did at the end of last season. Get one or even two decent players in in January and we would be capable of beating anyone on the day.
Even so far, we haven't hugely struggled against the bigger sides. We got lucky against Man U and drew but we could have won, Chelsea were all over us but we drew. Liverpool was a really fifty/fifty game. They were lucky enough that we were well off the pace. We'd have beaten them if they played like that against us now. Then there's obviously Man City - really we should have won.
And there's also Villa, Spurs and Brighton.
What this does put into context are the horrific performances against sh1t like West Ham.
If Glasner can stop this slow start crap next season, God knows where we'll be. Top half easily.

Indeed mate, we’ve actually taken 6 points off the so called big 6 so far, which until we beat Ipswich and Brighton it was over half our points

Forgot Newcastle. We should have won that comfortably. Worst team I've seen at Selhurst this season. However, the argument that they are big six is currently unconvincing. We could do with putting one over Arsenal. I'm sick of them.
I'm surprised you have a yellow.

I don’t think they are big 6, they might think they are, but i always thought it was Arsenal spurs, the two manchesters, Liverpool and Chelsea. But If we are to include Newcastle then that’s 7 points off the big 7 😀

I’m assuming the yellow is because I called someone something unpleasant for his attack on Dean Henderson after his excellent performance against Brighton 😇😁
