NEW: HOL FPL Challenge
After its introduction near the end of the 2023/24 season, FPL Challenge ran throughout the whole of 2024/25 as a fun alternative to the FPL game we’re all familiar with.
With a different theme every week, it gave managers the chance to own players they might not have had in their usual FPL teams, often in five or seven-a-side formations with limitless budgets and double points on offer.
There were 12 HOLers who entered the HOL FPL Challenge this year, played in a classic format. One week at a time finished top of the table with an impressive 2070 points, the only team to score over 2000. Glasner Rangers and Glad All Over came second and third, with Ayew Shaw rounding out the top four places - with probably my favourite team name!
I really enjoyed taking part in FPL Challenge, and hope all those who entered did too. I’m assuming it will be back again next season, so hope to see you back for another go if/when it returns.
Many thanks to all of you who took part, and very well done to the first-ever HOL FPL Challenge winners, One week at a time!
