Not working out for him on loan at Villa - seems they think they overrated him. If we could step in and dupicate his loan terms for Villa (like Uche, obligation to buy - for 35 mil- with ten starts) it would fill the Sarr hole and give us vital competition in the front 3. He's got ability, maybe we can rekindle it and save his season and his World Cup chances. Versatile too, can do a wing back job.

Harvey Elliott has played for both Liverpool and A.Villa this campaign and rules stipulate that a player cannot play for more than 2 clubs in a season.

Interesting to see that a lot of our supposed attacking targets over the summer are barely playing. Elliott, Guessand, Dibling. These are players who all cost more than Pino and Uche but are performing/appearing at an even lower level. Maybe it's clubs overpaying or that the Premier League is a very tough league to adapt to. Or a bit of both.

Maybe of interest one who has received some fairly positive reviews it's El Khannous. Hard to judge in a different league and the general consensus at the time seemed to be that Pino was a better option for us.

All of the potential Liverpool ones were overrated and overpriced. Look at Doak too. These were ones we were supposed to get. I commented on both at the time. Doak was never good enough - no different to Esse really or even Rak-Sakyi. He might make it one day. Elliot is always injured (ironic I know). He's very one footed, so can be showed onto his wrong foot. He's also not that quick, not slow but would not be physically like our players. He's very technical and a good dribbler. Yet, he also lacks end product. As I type this, I think of Nketiah. My own opinion, Nketiah is better. I think Hudson-Odoi would have suited us better. Just more all rounded and we tend to like a bit of moving around. If I were to be fair to Elliot, he would be excellent in Spain or Italy. I expect you know what I mean. He was nowhere near worth the money being touted.
