Watching MOTD and looking at Uni Emery I would dare to suggest his lovely black mane comes out of a bottle.

As a man of advancing years I have never worried about that fade to grey and increasingly white hair and beard but equally I know of mates who maybe started to go grey a bit early and dyed their hair and have kept doing it to an extent where it just in my opinion looks a bit daft.

Who enjoys a bit of Just for Men and who is happy to be a silver fox?

Consider yourself lucky, if you have a hair product choice. I had my last haircut (grade 2) aged 26, as inevitable baldness was to follow
30 years of no haircuts or shampoo, or other products, i probably saved a fortune. ,... then spent it on beer. 🙂

His father was a vampire - they don't go grey......

Ladies of a certain vintage can alter the colour of their hair and no eyebrows are raised.
Men of advanced age who use 'Grecian 2000' and similar products can be subjected to disparaging comments.
Was not being judgemental at all just curious.

I reckon in a lot of cases men simply go a bit over the top with the colour, with a 70 year old guy with a head of jet black hair and white eyebrows

Then there is also the dreaded 'syrup,' I recall one my teachers (Winterbourne boys in the 70's who went from the comb over to purchasing what resembles a flattened rat which perched on his head with the tufts of grey poking out. He also had the most amazing eyebrows who looked like spiders

Clearly left an impression.

Most certainly such a look is not fetching at all and I suspect attracts disparaging remarks.
In my opinion a wrap-over hairdo is also far from aesthetic.
In bygone days I knew of a gentleman who resorted to generous use of a product to the extent that there was enough oil on his hair to fry a sack of potatoes.

Mind you top of the pile has to be Dumbo Trumps. 78 year old blonde and they say he styles it himself ever day.

If there are those on HOL who will be attending a Palace Legends evening in East Grinstead this Wednesday (Bright and Martyn) they might witness me with hair perfectly gelled for the occasion. !😛😀
Macassar, pomade or Vitalis? Or a custom made Willo preparation?

What hair?
Nah, in my minds eye, I see Willo as resembling those Elvis impersonators you see in Vegas, hair greased back, complete with sideburns. Instead of the jumpsuit though, I reckon he has a one of those quilted lounge jackets with a paisley cravat, a gin & tonic in one hand and cigarette in the other.

It's funny how you imagine certain posters 🤣🤣🤣
