Hello there!

I don't know if it is usual to introduce here, when one just registered himself here. I am doing it anyway and beg pardon, if I am commiting a major crime in here 😜

After reading (nearly daily) here, since OG is your GRANDMASTE... I meant manager, I finally registered here.

First of all, please have mercy on my bad english, since it is not may native language. As you all could assume, my Username is a hint for finding out my origin.

So, if not: Greetings from beautiful Vienna.

I chose to join in here because I could possibly, as some others here, could provide, besides smalltalk, with infos and/or news which afe posted in Austrian newspapers (print/digital) whatever.

One more thing: please don't be confused, when I write english nouns with a starting Capital sometimes. It is common in german language, to do so.

What else can I write?

Yeah: have a nice weekend and never eat yellow snow 🙂

I am glad to be allowed to be here.

In diesem Sinne: Prost!!!

Good to hear from you Schnitzel.
Any influence you can bring to bear, either through your local media or personal representation, on Ollie to sign a long, juicy contract with Palace will be gratefully received here.
Meanwhile, enjoy a strudel with your coffee this evening.

Oh, I will. Enjoying a strudel and bring informations as good as I can.

From far what I have read so far recently, about his state (OG) of not being that happy with things like missing transfers or compensating leaves, I could just say right now: Austrians are very polite when adressing others, but also extremely stubborn.

I think OGs way of being stubborn could evolve into a major problem. It was back then at Wolfsburg already. Never underestimste Austrian stubbornness. But I guess, that this is not the right thread here. I will adress it in a proper thread, when necessary.
Besides: Thank you very much for your welcoming words 🙂

Now lets head for DEN STRUDEL MIT KAFFEE 😁

I was based near Franz Josefs at Bank Austria and the pork knuckle highly recommended, loved it and the beer was pretty good too.
Yeah, the serve Budweiser, usually. A Czech beer. But, gladly, not the Budweiser from overseas. The real one! 🙂

Edit: you meant Franz Josefs Bahnhof (train terminal)?

Stubbornness I think it was called being 'stuhr' in German.

I hope OG is 'stuhr' enough to stay with us and not 'ausgerschwindert' (cleared off) as he surely is entitled to be.

😉
It would be "stur". Yes. I hope that too. But he was too "stur" too often, and that is why some people above him, who were "noch sturer" (=more stubborn) had him sacked. Wolfsburg, as I already mentioned (there was a "Schmadtke" (could one ever think of a more german last name?), that seemed to invented being stubborn).

Ja, nearly. (insert Schwarzenegger gif trying to speak English): "Ja, but it wood bi" rausgeschwindelt". You can pronounce it like, for the same sound, "rousegayshweendled". I just spoke it. It really sounds the same 😁

Day 1 for me in here and I am already learning and providing 😳

the OP's English is better than many on here, including my own. I went to Vienna years ago, with its beautiful buildings and the graffiti along the banks of the Danube. I dropped into the Rockhaus for a gig and that was great.
Hoping Schnitzel gets all the information on Mr Glasner,...and how happy he is to be in SE London 😀
