Just received my invite from CPFC to vote for April Goal of the Month. I doubt if there has ever been a month with so many fantastic and important goals scored.
As well as some great academy goals, the seniors included:
Eze's volley from the corner against Arsenal
Mateta's chip over Raya against Arsenal
Mateta's screamer against Brighton
Munoz winner against Brighton
Eze's screamer against Villa
Sarr's first goal against Villa a precision strike from out side the box
Sarr's second against Villa a great run and shot that sealed the deal
Even if I have forgotten one or two, that is a fantastic line up to choose from. Any of them might have won many other months.
After a lot of thought, and I may change my mind, I am going to go for Sarr's first against Villa as there was good team play, a great finish and it helped calm me down after the penalty miss.
