Yes but I think they were hoping for a loa n with an obligation to buy in the Summer when I imagine Rogers will be off to a c ub higher up the food chain. Spurs, of course, have the Johnson money available to buy outright.

It doesn't really work like that.

Anyway Spurs had plenty of cash remember they was offering the same as Arseanl for Eze so paying 35-40m for this guy is nothing really and I expect they would have paid Eze this amount in wages if not more.

Saw his interview on signing for Tottenham, total bulls**t, how he really wanted to sign for club etc, general fawning, quite liked him but considering he always said he was a Chelsea boy through and through, strange how Allegiance changes when in anothers payroll
