To the uninitiated its like a cross between Soccer, rugby, and MMA. Shin-guards not needed as most of the action happens higher up. Amateur players in a sport, thus far, not wrecked by big money.

The throw-in 3:30pm at the holy turf of Croke Park Dublin. TV buildup from 3pm.

My grandson has just started training at our local team in Castlederg.
We're a stones throw from the border with Donegal and the excitement here is high.
Our neighbours here all have the green and yellow flags flying.

Come on Donegal!! Was he in bundoran a couple of weeks ago? Seen a lad wearing palace then an hour later met another fella in tobercurry in Sligo wearing palace too. Seen more palace that day than Utd over here and that's a first 😃

No wasn't him , he's loving his time training and learning the game with his pals from the local school. He's just six years old and loves football as well and of course Palace.
Connor Bradley's the local hero here as it's his home town.

Plenty of Palace fans in Sligo and Leitrim. Converted all my cousins for starters years ago.
