Freddie woodman

I think when he was a youth player at Palace he was much sort after and when he left for Newcastle there was much wailing and renting of clothing.

I lost track of him until this, it looks like he has never achieved the career that was predicted for him and is now content to be no 3 back up keeper at Liverpool.

Yes and stato will know off the top of his head. I remember seeing his dad Andy play.👍
He never played a league game for us in 5 years. According to Andy he was so bad that in training which ever side he played on got a two goal head start (I am guessing that was tongue in cheek)

Check out the podcast "under the cosh" the Andy Woodman one is Brilliant worth it just for the story of selling his car to Stan Collymore.

Yes, the podcast is VERY funny. He never played a first team game for us and laughs that his main contribution was to organise the team holidays whenever they had a break away.

His tales of his time at Newcastle as goalkeeping coach under Alan Pardew are also very amusing. I knew Andy a bit through my friendship with Deano, Darren Pitcher and Marc Edworthy at the time, he is a top bloke.
