David Furnish immediately sprang to mind as Elton John's partner. He somehow wrangled himself a cameo in Spinal Tap 2, purely because he was Elton's wife.
And Debbie McGee. Not because she's upsetting, but she was always just Paul Daniels dolly-bird, and since his death she's managed to progress her own media careers.
What tipped it for me was Mrs Merton asking...
"What first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels ?"
