Europe - Showing up the Premier League

Disappointed in Newcastle, Chelsea and city. They all seemed to go man to man against their opponents and got ripped apart. Back in the day the English teams would do what larnaca did to us. Sit back, low block and nick a goal.

Spurs...in fairness to them went out on goalkeeper mistakes.
 
I'm not currently UK based so don't get the chance to watch a lot of games but found myself with ample time and opportunity to stick one on late last night.
"Spurs Vs Forest?! That's going to be a great game!"
A classic relegation 6 pointer, two teams in positions they shouldn't be and hellbent on proving that they deserve to be higher...

It was like watching sausages fry in a cold pan.
Boring, boring, boring, boring.
Passing practice for the defenders and the soundtrack a dull hum of fifty thousand viewers chatting quietly between themselves and occasionally groaning whilst the commentators tried desperately to make any of it sound entertaining. It sounded like a cricket match.

Apparently there were some goals in the second half but I was long since fast asleep by then! 🙄

Spurs fans didn't boo at the final whistle. They had long gone home.
