No surprise. Spurs were a mid-table side last season. Only have to finish above one team to survive but do not want them replicating Bristol City who only picked up 6 points last season and conceded an average of more than 3 goals per game

Only bringing 3 back from last year, plus losing the striker to an ACL, was always a struggle. Not helped by Tottenham and Chelsea in the first 2, although may be a blessing in disguise, as more time to gel for the games in which they have a chance at a result.

The main problem was every time Palace got the ball,nine times out of ten they gave it straight back to Chelsea. So therefore caused most of their own problems.

Sadly the team looks hopelessly outclassed at thos level.

I think they will struggle to score and could struggle to get a win in the division. The gulf between divisions here is huge as Bristol City found last year.

Aim: one team below you by May. Get foothold. Creep up the league over years to the safety of mid table.

we struggled in 69-70, we came back from 0-9 v Liverpool, hopefully they can rally round and bring in a few players and make a fight of it. it's nice to support the underdog and our girls definitely fall into that category.
