When going through the possible WC squad with pals down the pub (yes I know) over the last months I dont think any of us mentioned Dan Burn ,Manioo or Toney as possible inclusions

We all knew Brentfords Henderson was going and there is probably one maybe two more defenders than we are going to need .
Maybe Wharton hasn't made a strong enough claim but to take the water carrier Mainoo is baffling .Gibbs white and Palmer will be equally confused for other reasons

Burn has had a shitty season, just ask any Newcastle fan. Henderson has been benched TEN times for Brentford this season, Tuchel brought him in when he was playing in the Saudi league too. Ivan Toney is playing in a joke league, unsurprising he's scored 32 in 32 games. Spurs are hardly showing us how to defend so I'm baffled by Spence's inclusion.

Everyone knows how MGW has carried Notts Forest to safety this season, and at gunpoint. Wharton just can play on another level and is a perfect compliment to Rice. I'd also prefer Maguire in there, he IS a better player than either Burn or Spence, even Mitchell is actually.

I was relieved when Fraudgate stepped down and though Tuchel would be a technical step up, but Jesus Christ this is shocking. It's not as if the results are backing up his choices.

You wouldn't mention them because they're not good enough. Henderson isn't good enough either. Things already souring for England fans. Tuchel's rubbish.
