If villa win the Europa, one of the 3 Bs will be in the ECL next season and one will be in the Europa.

We will all but have sacrificed our league place and thrown all our meagre resources killing ourselves to win this trophy with the view to entering the competition we should have started the season playing.

Only, if the remaining games go a certain way...

To either face Brighton in that competition or possibly watch them play in the ECL!

To be honest I’m only bothered about us, win this now we’re in the final and have a crack at Europe again next season, sod the rest

But I get what you’re saying, I’ve just renewed my season ticket and it just feels like I have to sit through a lot of mediocrity and mundane league stuff at selhurst and all our excitement is in Europe at the moment and possibly again next season. Although tbf, some of the European games at Selhurst have been hard to sit through as well, but at least we got the job done and got to the final
