For what its worth he's just saying what a lot people already think

Be surprised if most refs don't think the same of Fergie, Jose, Pep, Klopp, Pards (lol). the amount of abuse the refs get or got.

Issue is obviously he's been filmed saying it (looks off his face mind you) which begs the further question, how do you end up at an afters with a premier league referee 🙂

Probably offended the worst club for it though - theyll be screaming conspiracy and highlighting every game hes reffed for them Or VAR

I do think refs are just generally rubbish everywhere currently, no conspiracy with this though

Just a fella whose got sh*tfaced and messed up, said something bad about someone at work, probably cost him his job.

He should call on old Clippety as a witness. He'd probably laugh about it. Bad luck if he didn't since he laughed about most other things.

Appears more off his tits than sh*tfaced.
 
I've always rated Coote as one of our better referees and it seems totally out of order that the poor bloke should be singled out for speaking his mind in what appears to be a very low key interview.

Just because he didn't think much of Klopp doesn't mean he would referee Liverpool's games in a less than impartial and professional manner. Mountains and molehills come to mind.

To be fair to David Coote he’s accurate in both of his assessments.
 
Whoever filmed that is despicable. They must have known that this would destroy this man's career, it's clear that he was set up.

What he said was wrong but who hasn't said things in unguarded moments.

Was it wrong? It's his opinion of someone, and gave his reasons for his opinions.
But maybe we all need to dislike people quietly, behind their backs.
