According to one report I read the bill will be paid by the developed world, the reporter was questioning the definition of developed.

Apparently a number of "rich" countries are not considered developed under the current definition so don't have to pay. Annoyingly he didn't list those countries, I would like to know who they are .

Many would consider the UK a developing country.
A country where many elderly people live in poverty, has significant unemployment/welfare culture and has many homeless people, including ex-forces personnel. The UK, does however, already give aid to India, who has it's own space program.

If the UK can't sort itself out, what is giving money to other countries going to do ?

I think Saudi Arabia was one names suggested as a developing country but like I say I haven't seen the list of the definition.

The fact they're not developed is because the Saud family were happy to sit back and grow grotesquely rich selling the stuff that's a major part of the problem. If anyone should cough up it's them.

I seem to recall Labour in opposition moaning that the Tories target for EV's wasn't tough enough. It now seems they will be rowing back on it.
