Just wanted to note how heartening it has been to see all the words of congratulations written in the match thread from supporters of many other clubs, including encouraging words from City fans. I've noted Hartlepool, Leicester, Liverpool too, and apologies if I've missed any.

It's evident that our performance and victory has stirred a lot of positive emotions all over the place and it speaks volumes to the power of sport and to the good nature, on the whole, of other football fans in general.

We're very proud of what we've achieved, so thanks to all of you.

Now, keep your hands off our players and our manager!

Definitely want to second the reaction from the City fans. No grief, nothing stupid, some well educated responses to conversation.

From my perspective they handled the result with grace and it massively raised my perception of their fans. Not sure I'm ever going to cheer them on (largely because I support the underdog in most neutral situations) but they gave me no reason to enjoy their disappointment.
