I've been saying this for years that the Transfer window is a restrictive practice. I think the players have a good case.

I would love it if the English FA withdrew from the corrupt and nasty French FiFA. The international language of football is English (with Spanish in second place). The Premier League outshines the one-horse-race that is the French League.

France can happily be the centre of the Universe for metric measurements, strange plumbing to wash your bum, Industrial strikes, being aggressive until somebody puts a uniform onto your back, goofy unreliable cars with bug-eye headlights, proudly urinating in public places, crippling bureaucratic paperwork, garlic & brothels,.... but surely not for Football ?

The way to do that is to bring a couple of rich Associations with them. Say the FA could get the Saudis and US to breakaway too and probably some others - then there would be a huge issue for FiFA.
