Already previously been fined £9 million for same / similar charges- now £10 million, irregularities occurred under the previous regime, the new regime fessed up -
Even if they had declared the transactions through the books they wouldnt have crossed the FFP threshold
Its going to be used as a yardstick decision against any & all future cases ? (Pre-emptive line in the sand)
Presumably there will be a tax investigation to follow to ascertain if the appropriate tax was paid on the transactions & the recipients declared the appropriate tax payments accordingly

Everton, Villa and Forest will be curious about it too. Points deductions and transfer embargoes for some but not for others. It paves the way for City to squirm out of the charges against them.

What a miserable corrupt club Chelsea are.
If that had been any other club aside from the top 6 big clubs there would have been point deductions and heavier fines, 10 million £ is nothing to them.
As others have stated sets a precedent for the Man City announcement when ever that will be who knows.

Football fans need to get together and boycott at least a week of the Premier League.
Maybe boycott buying shirts next season too. We need attention paid to the obvious and never ending corruption.
Look at how we've been treated over next to nothing and contrast it to how City and Chelsea have been treated for much wider ranging, blatant cheating.
