Typical Palace. Should have had a deal in place for the cat before the window opened. I heard Parish wanted to negotiate rather than just stumping up the required two tins of tuna like well run clubs do.

With Nketiah out we don't really have a proper option to replace JP with. Uche has shown lots of enthusiasm, but he looks very raw. Would Wilson really be the worst shout on a deal to the end of the season? He has four goals and an assist in just 800 minutes of football this season and doesn't appear to have had any significant injuries.
It's not a bad shout. Wet Spam have just bought 2 new strikers for a lot of money so they are bound to play.
Wilson has to be managed mostly can only play 60 mins and wouldn't normally play back to back, a bit like Clyne.
That said he and JPM could share the duties.
It all depends on the fee that West Spam want, if he's a bargain I say yes to get us over our immediate crisis.

Wilson wants to leave West Ham as he's on something of a pay as you play deal. Clearly he will slip down the pecking order now they have signed two strikers.
What I've seen of him with them, he looks a little off the pace and I'm not convinced he's capable of the intensity that would be required of him at Palace.
Having said that, his main competition at Palace ( aside from JP ) at the moment is Uche. A headless chicken of a player. At least Wilson could add some guile and experience.
