Bunch of Thickos!!

Apparently the reason Neil Harris is leaving after Saturday's game away to M'boro is because he referred to some Millwall fans as a "bunch of thickos"! He's had to fall on his sword and walk away from the club as a consequence!
 
He couldn’t possibly have aimed that at the Millwall fans. I’ve always thought over the years as I’m looking at them in the away end at Selhurst, what an intelligent, pleasant and amiable looking bunch of chaps they appear to be

Irony isn't their long suit so that opinion would offend them more than Mr. Harris's.

He doesn't get on with the board but the comnents were aimed at a small selection of the support.

My fiancè works with a Millwall fan and he said to her that they are resigned to losing Esse (probably to Palace) but they reckon that the player wants to stay.

Given a choice of upsetting their fans or the board I think I would say my comments were directed at the board. 😀

That’s true, the Millwall board are less likely to want to jump up and down on your head 😀
