What a tricky old game this will be as usual against them. Thomas Frank is probably my favourite non Palace manager in the league and his tactical flexibility makes them unpredictable. Been mostly 4-3-3 this season but maybe they'll match up with our shape - though on the opening day they didn't and happily played through our disjointed press. Luckily now we have recovery pace in the defence if we play a high line and try and pin them back a bit, though that doesn't really suit us given how reliant we are on creating in transition rather than from settled possession

Can see why Sky picked this one as it could be a cracking game. 1-0 us, maybe Eze scoring from picking the ball up in the pocket and slotting one in the bottom corner

I agree with iheartcpfc and Palazio in that Frank is one of the better managers and Hughes will (almost certainly) get booked early on.

A few on here willing Nketiah to score, but I'll plump for Kamada to bobble one in after a stray pass by one of their defenders goes his way. Mateta will score the other after latching on to a sublime through ball from Devenny in another 2-0 win.

What I respect about Brentford is (unlike the West Hams, the Fulhams, the Evertons) is they are highly motivated for every game and bang up for it no matter who is in front of them. I expect a hard game with not too much between us but with confidence on a high, the luxury of being able to not only field a winning starting team but also potentially have Wharton, Nketiah and Esse on the bench to throw on for the last 20 minutes to keep the pressure on I think we will edge it.
