He's a really good player who could make a difference for us. But you would think Spurs and price. They'll be asking for more than we can afford surely?

I just saw this and he would be excellent for us.and I think Spurs would consider selling him.
However, I'm sure how things are now between us and Spurs after the summer.
Primarily the Eze deal.
Although, we were prepared to accept their offer, I don't think Eze had any intention of going there. So not really our fault.
Secondly the Solomon deal.
This collapsed at at very last min on deadline day. I suspect someone advised against signing an Israeli player.at this moment in time. Fortunately, Spurs found him an alternative location.
They are going to want yo recoup at least what they paid for him, if not more. You could see Forest getting involved as well though again he would be battling for place given their squad

loan till the end of the season could suit all parties, maybe with an option to buy. He'll want a bigger stage eventually, but if he's out in the cold at Spurs he could use us to showcase his ability to a Champions league side - which might even turn out to be us!

Trsnsfermarkt lists him at £30/34 m which seems unlikely when they paid £47.5 m for him.
He can run fast but his main asset is his goal-scoring, and he hasn't found the net in the league since Round 2. Odobert, Tel, Richarlison and Simons are all ahead of him and with Solanke, Kulusevski and Maddison returning at some time he is unlikely to have a long term future there. I'd be surprised if they move him before the summer
If we could get Johnson (24) for 30m and Boey (25) for 15m that could be offset by selling Muñoz (29) for 50m, so not getting in financial problems.

I don't understand this deal for Johnson. As far as I know he is okay at Spurs so why would he wish to leave or more to the point why would Spurs let him go to a club they have had transfer dealing issues with.
Spurs will want top dollar and I doubt we will pay that so this seems a non starter to me. I'm not against it I just can't see it happening.

I just had a look into his valuation. They paid 47.5 and they value him at around 50. I wouldn't be surprised if they asked for more. Maybe 50 would get him. We're not doing that unless we sell.
