Billion Dollar Brain

Feeling bored I am watching the 1960’s movie Billion Dollar Brain starring Michael Caine. The character of General Midwinter and his computer is eerily similar to the Trump administration. Totally stark raving bonkers.

I recently saw it again Michael Caine (great entertainment) and drew the same parallel.

The data crunching Honeywell console immediately had me thinking was this the first AI?

And the mad Texas commie hating republican USA general brilliantly played.

The uncanny resemblance to current events, it could actually be real.

😎

This was actually Peter Sellars.

Back in the sixties he was one of the first to get a telephone answering machine and he used to record funny voices and impersonations. Celebs used to call him just to listen to his latest gag, one of which was Michael Caine and it stuck.

The first two films in the 'arry Palmer trilogy were good this one feels rushed and thrown together.

Not saying it is a great film- it isn’t thought with Ken Russell directing it might have been. Just that it was eerily reminiscent of the Orang One and his puppy Musk.
