If you have clear skies tonight, look up, there's a high chance of seeing the Aurora.

If you do take a photo & post it here.

I saw it whilst up in the Lake District last year. I’d never seen it before and it really was quite spectacular.

I was staying at a cottage in Low Lorton (the middle of nowhere) and let the dog out before bedtime. I was taken aback by the sky, by complete surprise. An incredible glow and pattern of green light, quite remarkable.

If you put your phone camera into night mode it can often pick up t'Northern Lights even if your eyes can't see it. It's a useful piece of info because knowing this makes me think I might as well Google an image of it and go "great, colourful sky, big f**king woop".

in December 2005, I thought I'd got some great views of the Northern Lights. Turns out it was the Buncefield fuel depot all alight.
In 1936 people in Sydenham probably thought the same, until the fire engines started hurtling up the hill.

Nothing in Wales. good position in theory, but thick cloud cover.
