I've noticed the cover for the match today, relating to 1963, shows a roof on the Whitehorse at that time.
I started coming to watch Palace regularly in 1969, and there was no roof on the Whitehorse then - by my reckoning it only really appeared when Sainsburys arrived in the early 80's. I've not heard of an earlier roof that was demolished between 1963 and 1969.
All other programme covers show Selhurst as it was at the time the cover relates to.
Am I not remembering something, are my eyes deceiving me (possible), or have the producers of the programme made a mistake?
