Come the January transfer window, might Ademola Lookman be worth a look...man? A soupçon of recent form abroad:

Transfer value of £40-£45 million, playing in the Champions League also PSG rumoured to be looking at him, we missed the boat with him, very very unlikely he comes here.
 
We had the chance to get him before he became big and wouldn't pay the small fee something like 15m later on I remember us trying for a loan deal and he straight up refused.

I think we bid £6 million on transfer deadline day when Pardew was here, Charlton turned it down, I don’t remember him ever turning us down, to be fair he’s never really done much in the Premier League, Everton, Fulham, Leicester, he’s finally found somewhere where he fits.

Saw him score a hat trick against Leverkusen in the final of whatever that second string European competition was called. He looked a world-beater on the night. To think that he started with Charlton.
