I loved it under Bert Head
When we were claret and blue
I loved it under Big Mal
When we went from old to new
I loved it under Venables
When the youth team made the grade
I loved it under Coppell
In spite of how we played
I loved it under Smithy
And his run-ins with Big Ron
I loved it under Dowie
When Andrew Johnson shone
I loved it under Warnock
With Darren, Danny and Danns
I loved it under Dougie
Though he had bigger plans
I loved it under Holloway
Who used 'pooh-gate' to inspire
I loved it under Pulis
Though his service was for hire
I loved it under Pardew
Until he dropped those moves
I loved it under Big Sam
How quality improves
I loved it under Roy boy
We didn't always park the bus
I loved it under Vieira
With his 'super' start for us
But if I had to choose just one
I couldn't tell you how
Cos the gaffer that I love the most
Is the one we've got right now!
