Women commentators. Can't stand them
When I think of him in that forward thinking mode, I'm reminded of his run into the box at Wolves back in March 22 when he won a penalty which Wilf converted. Schluppy simply caught the Wolves defence off guard. His driving run forward was the last thing they expected. The right time to move on for Jeff. I never thought he was a bad as some people made out. At least he played in a positive manner always looking to push forward rather than resort to our habitual sideways and backwards ritual.
I also remember when he scored the winning goal against Bournemouth a few seasons back, driving into the opposition penalty area to fire home. That when we had gone down to 10 men thanks to Sakho being sent off. When I think of him in that forward thinking mode, I'm reminded of his run into the box at Wolves back in March 22 when he won a penalty which Wilf converted. Not entirely sure why but that would be in my top 10 games at Selhurst. I think it was because we went down to 10 fairly early and were flirting with the relegation zone. The exultation when Schluppy scored was amazing and we held on for 3 precious points. God knows what it would be like to win an actual proper trophy (I was at Wembley for the ZDS cup)!I also remember when he scored the winning goal against Bournemouth a few seasons back, driving into the opposition penalty area to fire home. Marking Olise tonight. Might be a long 90 minutes for Jeffrey.
Moving in slow-mo compared to Olise. Looks like he's moved from pie eating straight to haggis eating.Already struggling against him
