That was NOT a sitter; it was an excellently taken shot with his so-called weaker foot. He has done OK with his when he's come on. He has come on because of the injury issues we've had with our midfielders with Wharton out and Doucoure struggling to get back to his best. Why is he getting so much game time off the bench?
Apart from the sitter he scored against Villa, he barely impacts the game each time he comes on
Don't understand why he is getting a run of games when Ebiowei and Rak-Sakyi have been sent on loan
The worst take I've seen all day.Why is he getting so much game time off the bench?

Ebiowei is arrogant, has an attitude problem and doesn't have a future at the club. Devenny is not comparable to that. His goal against Villa was a great finish which was very well taken. He's mature on the ball and makes good decisions, shows maturity beyond his years. Come to think of it, exactly what we need. Why on earth would you even come up with this take if you've been watching the games?
OK, but apart from that?Absolutely!
Devenny has been superb for us. Great attitude, commitment and passion. Superb athlete and brilliant on the press, box to box, very efficient with the ball and has a very high pass completion rate. Took his goal superbly well at Villa and looks a real talent.

Devenny is not filling in for DMs though, he came on today for Sarr. He always comes off the bench to be in the front 3That was NOT a sitter; it was an excellently taken shot with his so-called weaker foot. He has done OK with his when he's come on. As for Ebiowei and Rak-Sakyi, my view is:
- Neither are midfielders of the type that can fill in for our DMs.
- Ebiowei has failed to perform when out on loan and I doubt he has a future at Palace (there may also be attitude issues).
- Rak-Sakyi wanted guaranteed game time and as Glasner wasn't prepared to offer him that he was sent on loan to a Championship club where he has the opportunity to show he has the ability to step up to the PL. He did OK at Sheffield Utd prior to his injury but no mopre than that.
Today he came on for Sarr, at Leicester he came on for Eze, at Stockport he came on for SarrYou are joking surely? He ran over half the length of the pitch to get on the end of that cross and then it was a tidy finish
That’s quite some first post having a pop at a decent young player and comparing him to players who don’t even play in his position
Over who?I think he is quality....and deserves more starts.
I’d rather have him come than schlupToday he came on for Sarr, at Leicester he came on for Eze, at Stockport he came on for Sarr
He keeps featuring in the front 3, and not doing much. Today he came on 10 minutes before Nketiah, but that's another story
Daichi Kamada for starters, are you for real?Over who?
FairI’d rather have him come than schlup
That's a really daft idea. Just because he comes on as another goes off doesn't mean he is coming on for them. The team will adjust. It may change to a more attacking, or defensive, formation depending on the state of the game. He isn't an attacker. He is an athletic, energetic DM who covers lots of ground and gives us fresh legs just when needed. I have not seen him make mistakes, or even misplace passes too often. So a very valuable addition to the squad.Today he came on for Sarr, at Leicester he came on for Eze, at Stockport he came on for Sarr

and he is, so he is.Playing well and don't forget he's a young lad
