The Premiere League Current Form Table is quite astonishing.....we are 8th. Look at all those below us!

Have a look at the fan forums for Tottenham, Man City/United - this decline in their fortunes has not gone unnoticed.

I see Spurs are moaning they don't have any fit centre backs, so expect Levy to bid 5p for Guehi in the next few weeks as long as we throw Mitchell in for free. 😀

Means sod all really seeing as those carrot crunchers are now only five points behind us.
Make no mistake we're in deep s*** for the rest of this turgid horrible season.

I'm watching Forest (top of the form table) giving another master class in efficiency tonight.
Wolves have had the better chances, but Forest are clinical and ruthless.
Every player knows their role and executes the tactical plan as required, essentially hitting teams on the break.
They remind me of the unsung Leicester team that won the Premier League a few years ago.
I'm not suggesting Forest will win it, but a top 6 finish looks possible if they avoid injuries.
The annoying thing is there's no reason we could not be just as good if Wharton had stayed fit and we had a settled team earlier.
Player for player I'm not sure they are better than us.

Wolves’ finishing is even worse than ours. You are right about Forest and the importance of a settled and consistent team. Unfortunately we blew up the start of our season by losing key players (Olise and Anderson), making some really poor signings (Kamada, Nketiah) and OG’s tactical inflexibility / players taking time to adapt to OG’s system (delete as appropriate). Not much we could do about losing Olise but it was such a missed opportunity to build on last season.

from the bbc report:

They have lost just one of their past 10 Premier League games (four wins, five draws) and their current six-match unbeaten run away from home (three wins and three draws) is the club's longest in the top-flight since February 1992.

You'd think it would feel better than it does somehow.

Yep. but i do get you 100%....just looing for positives
Absolutely. It just doesn't occur to me that other clubs might look at our form and be concerned about playing us. Strange because if we can grind out results despite not playing particularly well then things are looking good.

So true, I thought we were awful first half last night, we improved second half and maybe that little bit of premier league nouse is seeing us through at the moment. With our usual struggles in front of goal, who would’ve thought a bit of quality finishing by us would’ve been the difference, especially with them having Vardy up front.

As opposed to nause which is a not uncommon experience.
