I thought we scored from a corner earlier this season, and that it elicited the same reaction on HOL as this one. If I'm correct, it should be easy to track down, as before yesterday we'd only scored 6 League goals. Or maybe the excitement's too much and I'm hallucinating.

If I recall correctly, we ultimately scored, by my count, twice from corners taken but only in the second phase of play and not directly from the corner like this one. I think we can count this one as our first in such a long time. Someone on a vid said it's somewhere around 470 days since the last one.

Yes, I was thinking that it's been an age since a goal in first phase.

Can anyone remember the last such one, what match it was?

Well, that was Sat 13th May 2023.

Blimey. Can it really be that long ago? That would mean we didn't score from a corner for the whole of last season.

I know there was talk about this before and maybe I missed something but I'm shocked to be honest. Eighteen months! ha!

I don't know if that was the last one but it was the last one I can clearly remember.
