Selhurst Anthem

The club would like our suggestions for a “Selhurst Park Anthem”. As we already have one I have suggested Glad All Over.
I thought Burnley had nailed this with the Ecstasy of Gold classic from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. The irony of the song title was perhaps not lost on those watching their previous two top flight campaigns.

Apart from the obvious current ones, the best suggested new offerings I can think of for us are something by Faithless (We Come One? God is a DJ?) or - for nostalgia - Zombie Nation when Andy Johnson was knocking them in.

I also think "I can't help falling in love with you" after games where we got a win would be nice - especially cup games. Finally, "Power To The Palace" is brilliant albeit old school.

Seriously though, we cant really sing an Anthem until after the kick off with the shite music coming out of those big b****** speakers in the Holmesdale , they are deafening.

How about an anthem that has nothing to do with us, so that we can be like other soulless clubs.
Even Brighton haven't gone down that route.
Yea, i have always wondered WTF had z cars ever have to do with Everton and Bubbles with West ham 😕

I thought recently that we could do a mash up of faithless songs. Play a mellow one (I’m sure someone could suggest one) and then build into the (this is my church) line and mix it with the catchy bit from Insomnia.
That would be great.

Re a mellow one, after Eze, Guehi, Glasner and LeCroix… Don’t Leave to what remains of the cup winning side?

Or a positive spin on a mellow one if

1. Eze continues to sit on the bench
2. Guehi gets turned into a midfielder and Man City draw or lose too often to challenge the top 4
3. Glasner is sacked by Christmas after a fall out with The Fysallida over Forest's alarming slide to the drop zone
4. Le Croix gets benched at Chelsea, whilst Disasi is a hit here
5. Sage gets our guys purring and we steer clear of danger domestically, challenging in one of the cups.

"What becomes of the broken hearted?"

A lot of permutations... but wouldn't that be amazing!
