Our Prem survival is now looking 99% safe.
And so the Football-genie emerges from the Lamp and grants you one wish :
- finish high in the table, especially above Brighton
or
- Go for European glory, and get into the Europa League in '26/27.
For illustration, we recently saw Spurs win their first silverware in ages, and barely survive in the Prem. And then they sacked Ange Postologiougopolis. And i am sure Eagles need no reminding that there is more money the higher you finish in the Prem.
European Glory : you may be forgiven for thinking the third tier of Europe, against a bunch of tiny skint kips, is not that glorious. And that its far more prestigious for us to finish above the likes of Nottm Forest, Spurs, Leeds, & Brighton.
