Under 21 Teams

I see we lost again tonight against Stevenage in the EFL Cup and yet we had out several of out youngsters hoping or expecting to make the first team. It is clearly men against boys and will make the youngsters realise they have a long way to go to make the first team squad.
As I understand it no Premier Under 21 team has beaten the lower leagues first teams. I guess the good ones are either playing in the first team already or out on loan , either way they clearly have a lot to learn to get anywhere near first team action. COYP

It's not unexpected at least half of under 21 players won't make it as professionals and most of those that do will be in the lower leagues. We have some of our more promising players out on loan.
