They're probably going to play a compact defensive line, so don't need Mitchell's defensive capabilities as much as in the Premier League. Save him for when we need that, plus more minutes for Sosa to play with the first team.

I think Mitchell is happier going forward now that he has Yerermy Pino to back him up. YP can tackle unlike Eze so quick breaks have extra cover. Salah and Frimpong got no change from their attacks down the left on Saturday.

This might seem like a strange comment but I don’t think we’ve adjusted to the pace of this game in that it’s a lot slower than we’re used to.
Seems like a lot of rushed balls and wrong assumptions based on the expectation of the play/the opposition to move quicker.
