Started the game and after 5 mins was very frustrated with himself. I think he realised very quickly that the PL is a bit faster than where he came from.
Albeit he learned quickly and actually wanted the ball. Never hid from what I saw and I’m sure will score and set up a few goals. A bit of a cabaye type. A good signing imho.

If you look at Kamada, for example. He seems a decent player now but frankly, started off pants. Pino has started much, much better than Kamada did. If we can get the same improvement, he'd be world class. However, Uche looked more promising but maybe we haven't seen enough. I wonder if Uche will play up front as it feels a bit much to play Mateta in every game.

Agree with all this, looked good. Yes he missed a chance through on goal but a foot to the right and we would really have been raving about an excellent performance.

He clearly has talent but also work rate which Glasner clearly values very highly. In a brief cameo au he looked promising also.
