That's a pitiful bench, and probably similar to what we will have against Villa. Really could have done with some players in before that game, but it's not happening is it?

First 11 should do the job. Hopefully they'll be a bit more open that last week and we can get a early goal or 2 to settle the nerves and match.

Really shows how threadbare our squad is, we don't have that many unavailable either (Riad, Doucoure, Hughes, Nketiah).
Interesting there is no Eduoard, Rak-Sakyi, Ahamada on the bench either. Obviously, not in any of OG plans. Need to get these off the books asap.

However, we should still be recruiting with some thought process rather than just getting players in just to build up the squad. Reports of of talking to Reiss Nelson and Mohammad Salisu does hint of just getting players in (ie. Injury prone Arsenal reserve who no one else seemingly wants, and a centre back relegated with Southampton who has only played 22 times since joining Monaco in Aug 23.

Why not use Rak Sakyi and Ahamada on the bench. I understand that they appear to have no place going forwards, but they are being paid and if called upon should be able to do a reasonable job against this opposition.

Disappointed in Rak Sakyi not being there - perhaps he's having a medical somewhere else

He's on strike trying to force a move to Real Madrid. I really think Glasner should have brought a couple of the Academy kids as there are still 4 spots on the bench available. If Mateta gets injured I suppose Devenny goes up front

Sarr will play up front, Esse will come on and Kamada switch flanks. It's all TOTALLY under control

Silly me, It's obvious now. But what happens when Esse gets hooked after giving the ball away once?
I just hope we don't replace United as the laughing-stock

With that line-up if we don't win we won't deserve to get into the League stage
After all the fuss about of not being able to play in the Europa League, you can only imagine the derision we'd experience should we go out of the Conference at the first hurdle
