If it is us wanting him out, then surely you wouldn't risk an injury to scupper you plans.

This looks about right to me if Ward is deemed ready for a first team football start.
Normally I would expect Clyne to take the position, but there needs to be an experienced captain in our team and Ward is better in the air than Clyne which may be important against West Ham.
The risk is that I wouldn’t fancy Ward’s chances against the pacy Somerville.

If guehi dosent play i would move Lerma to replace Ward and play Doucoure?

Kamada looked a bit lightweight for me, wouldn't start him again for now. I'd like to see Lerma in there so dependant on Douc's fitness and the decision on Guehi.

Put Lerma in back three to replace Ward and bring Decoure into midfield alongside Wharton

Yes, i keep thinking, for some reason Lerma is Left footed, but he isn't, so Lerma instead of Ward with Doucoure in midfield is the better option

Glasner confirmed that Guehi captains the team and plays tomorrow.
The other news is that Hughes is a doubt through sickness .
Therefore only Anderson needs replacing in defence and it remains to be seen who replaces him.
Lerma would seem to be the likely replacement for Hughes if Doucoure is not quite match fit.

It will be interesting who is the centre of the Three CBs, IMO i would have Richards in the Centre, Riad Left, and Guehi right.

This would seem the best fit for the players and Guehi could provide better cover on the right for when Munoz goes forward.
Richards can look uncomfortable when dragged out to the right back position.

The odd thing though is from memory Guehi has always tended to play more on the left side whether for club or country.

My problem with that back 3 is that Richard’s doesn’t look so good on the right of the 3. I hope Guehi plays in the Andersen position with Riad on the right and Richard’s on the left. Riad is an unknown quantity so I hope the right suits him? Otherwise I would have either Clyne, Ward or Lerma in that position. We shall see how it pans out?
